2022 Annual Rideau Lakes Studio Tour

Tour  Brochure

As you know, we could not hold our 2020 or 2021 Canada Day Weekend Studio Tours because of the COVID-19 global pandemic. As artists, creating never stopped. We have beautiful new artwork just waiting to go home with you. We invite you to once again come to discover the results of creative minds at work on Canada Day weekend, July 2 and 3, 2022.

We all need the outing, the interaction, the fresh air, and the opportunity to enjoy incredible original art, sculptures, pottery, weaving, beading, and more. We encourage distancing, hand sanitizing, and masks. All our artists have been cautiously double-vaccinated and are heeding the necessary safety measures and protocols.

The quaint hamlets and villages of Rideau Lakes offer breathtakingly beautiful countryside and waterways. A perfect day or weekend to enjoy meandering, picnic lunch along one of the locks, in a local park, or an overnight stay in one of the many Bed & Breakfast locations. Stop in for lunch or an afternoon snack at many wonderful cafes or waterfront restaurants.

Our art is motivated and stimulated by the natural beauty of the waterways, culture, and history of this part of eastern Ontario. Here, in the surroundings of the Rideau Canal, a National Historic Site, and an Ontario UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can explore these roots, and enjoy the unique creations produced by our local artists in an extensive range of styles and media.

We look forward to sharing our creations with you. Browse our artist's studios on this site to view some of the magic that awaits along with our artists' short biographies.
